Fred Thompson is one of the most respected and visible figures in politics today. In 1973, he served as Minority Counsel to the Senate Watergate Committee where he lead the line of inquiry that revealed the audio-taping system in the White House Oval Office. Thompson served eight years as a Senator from Tennessee. First elected in 1994, the people of Tennessee returned him to office two years later with more votes than any candidate for any office in the state's history at that time. In 2005, Senator Thompson was named by President Bush as an advisor to Supreme Court Chief Justice nominee John Roberts, helping to move his nomination through the Senate confirmation process. Thompson has been a man of the times, adapting his unique abilities and leveraging today's communications technologies to speak to the American people about issues he feels are important to the nation.

Fred Thompson was the host of the nationally syndicated radio show "The Fred Thompson Show." The Westwood One syndicated show debuted on March 2, 2009 and replaced "The Radio Factor With Bill O'Reilly," which ended its six-year run on February 27th.

In his show, Thompson shared his conservative views on politics, topical issues and pop culture stories as well as conducted guest interviews and took listener calls. The two-hour show broadcasted from the Westwood One studios in Washington, and aired live from noon-2pm weekdays.
